How To Connect To Home/Department Network Drive On A Chromebook

This article will help guide you in accessing your Home/Department Network Drive on a Chromebook.

Step 1: Get onto Google Chrome and type in or click on the link https://vpn.saintpeters.edu

 Next, click on the drop-down and switch to SPC.EDU as shown below

Step 2:  You will get to a screen asking if you want to download Any Connect Secure Mobility Client. (Disregard)

On the left-hand side, you will see 4 options. Click on File Access

Step 3: After clicking on File Access. On the right of this icon      The file type will stay as CIFS:// and type in the Network path. fs1.spc.edu/shared or fs1.spc.edu/Home/username and click browse or enter.            

Step 4: You will need to authenticate with your Saint Peter’s credentials. (user name and password)

Step 5: Once you have successfully authenticated yourself with Saint Peters, you will see all department’s drives but only have access to the specific shared drives. Use the left and right arrows to navigate through the pages.

*Note: You will need to authenticate once more for security purposes when trying to access your Home/Department Network Drive
