Adding Chromebook To SPU-EMPLOYEES/SPU-STUDENTS Wireless

Overview

This article serves as instructions on adding a Chromebook device to the Saint Peter’s wireless regardless if it is SPU-EMPLOYEES or SPU-STUDENTS

Information

1. Click on the WiFi icon on the bottom right of the screen
   • 
2. Select the appropriate wireless name
   (SPU-EMPLOYEES is for current faculty/staff or SPU-STUDENTS is for current students).
   • 
     
      
3. Click on the wireless and it should prompt for additional settings.
   If not select option for the advanced settings then fill in the following information:
   • SSID: SPU-EMPLOYEES
     • EAP Method: Select PEAP
     • Phase 2 authentication: Select MSCHAPv2
     • Server CA Certificate: Do not use, leave as default.
     • Identity: Enter your Saint Peter’s Username (example: spc\jsmith)
     • Anonymous Identity: Do not use, please leave blank.
     • Password: Enter your Saint Peter’s account password
                          (Same password used to log into Blackboard / Spirit Online / etc )
     • The information should look similar to below:
   • SSID: SPU-STUDENTS
     • EAP Method: Select PEAP
     • Phase 2 authentication: Select MSCHAPv2
     • Server CA Certificate: Do not use, leave as default.
     • Identity: Enter your Saint Peter’s Username (example: students\jsmith)
     • Anonymous Identity: Do not use, please leave blank.
     • Password: Enter your Saint Peter’s account password
                          (Same password used to log into Blackboard / Spirit Online / etc )
     • The information should look similar to below:

        4. You should now be connected in the relevant WiFi.
